3rd November 2008 - CelAction shows nominated for Children's BAFTAs

Charlie & Lola by Tiger Aspect Productions has been nominated for Best Animation, Best Pre-School Animation and Best Writer (Dave Ingham). Little Princess by Illuminated Film Company and Peppa Pig by Astley Baker Davies have also been nominated for Best Pre-School Animation, and The Secret Show by Collingwood O'Hare Entertainment has also been nominated for Best Writer (Tony Collingwood).

29th May 2008 - Mama Mirabelle nominated for an Emmy

Mama Mirabelle's Home Movies, by King Rollo Films and National Geographic, has been nominated in the Outstanding Achievement In Main Title Design at the 2008 Daytime Emmys.

14th April 2008 - Buddy & Elvis win at Cartoons On The Bay

Buddy & Elvis by Illuminated Film Company won the Pulcinella Award for Best Pilot at Cartoons On The Bay.

17th March 2008 - Charlie & Lola wins Cairo

Charlie & Lola by Tiger Aspect Productions has won the Golden Cairo For Animated Films at the 18th Cairo International Film Festival For Children.

14th March 2008 - Charlie & Lola wins at British Animation Awards

Charlie & Lola by Tiger Aspect Productions won the Best Pre-School Series category at the British Animation Awards held on 13th March in London.

11th March 2008 - Five shows feature at Cartoons On The Bay

Buddy & Elvis by Illuminated Film Company and Mama Mirabelle's Home Movies by National Geographic Kids Entertainment are both nominated for Pulcinella Awards at Cartoons On The Bay. Little Princess by Illuminated Film Company, The Secret Show by Collingwood O'Hare Entertainment and Charlie & Lola by Tiger Aspect Productions are all showing in the selection.

25th February 2008 - CelAction shows nominated for British Animation Awards

In the Best Pre-School Series category, Little Princess by Illuminated Film Company and Charlie & Lola by Tiger Aspect Productions have been nominated. In the Best Children's Series category The Secret Show by Collingwood O'Hare Entertainment has been nominated. In the Best TV Special category Charlie & Lola has been nominated, and for the Best Character Voice Performance category Jane Horrocks has been nominated for her work on Little Princess.

22nd January 2008 - Music Video in Public Choice at British Animation Awards

Mark Nute's video Tokyo Moon is in the Public Choice section of the British Animation Awards, to be held on 13th March 2008. The winner in this category is chosen by members of the public. Incidentally, CelAction's Creative Director Andy Blazdell was on the Jury for the separate Best Music Video Award.
