1st December 2003 - Yoko! Jakamoko! Toto! wins BAF award!
Yoko! Jakamoko! Toto! has won the TV Series For Children award at the Bradford Animation Festival 2003. See www.baf.org.uk for more details.
24th November 2003 - New CelAction2D short film premieres on Channel 4
Clare Harford's film Big Feet is being shown on Tuesday 25th November at 7.55pm on Channel 4. It was made as part of the AIR scheme and was produced by Phil Davies. The film was animated using CelAction2D.
10th November 2003 - Yoko! Jakamoko! Toto! nominated for BAFTA award
Yoko! Jakamoko! Toto! has been nominated in the Pre-School Animation category of the British Academy Children's Film and Television Awards 2003. In addition, Tony Collingwood has been nominated in the Writer category for the same series. See www.bafta.org for more details.
7th November 2003 - Bounty Hamster nominated for BAFTA award
Bounty Hamster has been nominated in the Animation category of the British Academy Children's Film and Television Awards 2003. See www.bafta.org for more details. CelAction provided the 3D animation for this series.
6th November 2003 - Peppa Pig does well at Mipcom Junior
Peppa Pig, currently in production by AstleyBakerDavies, was ranked 4th most screened show at the Mipcom Jr. screenings on 8-9th October. There were 738 shows screened in total.

3rd November 2003 - New series of Monkey Dust uses CelAction2D
The second series of Monkey Dust, a dark adult comedy series, starts on 4th November 2003 at 9.30pm on BBC3. Some of the sketches for this new series were created using CelAction2D.
25th October 2003 - Circuit Marine opens Canadian film festival
Circuit Marine, a new short film directed by Isabelle Favez and produced under the Résidence scheme by Folimage and the ONF in Canada, received its' world premiere at the Abitibi-Temiscamingue international film festival.
9th October 2003 - New student film created using CelAction2D
Grégory Duroy, a student from the Poudrière animation school has completed his 3-minute graduation film entitled Temps De Cuisine. This is his second film made using CelAction2D.
24th September 2003 - 3 pilots at Cartoon Forum made using CelAction2D
Charlie & Lola from Tiger Aspect Productions, Mish-Mash from 2DTV Ltd. and Willo The Wisp from Elephant Productions were all presented at the Cartoon Forum in Varese last week. All the presentations were very well attended, and there was a lot of interest from broadcasters in all three shows.
15th September 2003 - Title sequence for Design Wars created using CelAction2D
2DTV Ltd. have made the title sequence for Talkback Thames' new ITV1 prime time show Design Wars. The sequence features caricatures of the show's six designers from around the world transforming houses at whirlwind speed. Catch Design Wars on ITV1 from Tuesday 16th September.
4th June 2003 - CelAction2D version 2 is launched!
With over 650 new features and improvements since version 1.0, the new version of CelAction2D has been launched.
29th May 2003 - CelAction2D version 2 to be launched at MIFA 2003
The new version of CelAction2D will be demonstrated for the first time at MIFA from 4-7th June in Annecy, France. Our stand number will be 4.001. See www.annecy.org for more information about visiting MIFA. Details about the new features in version 2 will be on this website soon.
30th April 2003 - Yoko! Jakamoko! Toto! now available on VHS and DVD
30th April 2003 - François Le Vaillant awarded prize from CNC
François Le Vaillant has been awarded a Prix à la Qualité from the CNC in France.
29th April 2003 - Mark Baker makes new CelAction2D film segment
Mark Baker has used CelAction2D to animate a short (100 second) sequence for Imagica Japans film Winter Days.
25th April 2003 - Peppa Pig commissioned
A 52x5 minute series of Peppa Pig, by Astley Baker Davies, has been commissioned and will start animation in August 2003.
8th April 2003 - Yoko! Jakamoko! Toto! nominated for award at Cartoons On The Bay
Yoko! Jakamoko! Toto! has been nominated for the Best TV Series For Infants award at Cartoons On The Bay in Positano, Italy, running from 9th-13th April 2003.
7th April 2003 - CelAction will be at MIFA 2003

4th April 2003 - Phil Mulloy makes film in CelAction2D
Award-winning film-maker Phil Mulloy has completed a 7 minute film for S4C entitled Love Is Strange.
20th March 2003 - Shoot The Dog in competition at Annecy 2003!
Shoot The Dog has been nominated for Best Music Video at Annecy 2003.
6th March 2003 - 2DTV wins Indie award for Best Animation 2003!
2DTV has won the Best Animation award at the Indies 2003.
5th March 2003 - 2DTV nominated for Golden Rose of Montreux 2003 - again!
2DTV has been nominated for the Comedy Rose D'Or at Montreux, for the second year running.
3rd March 2003 - First student film created using CelAction2D
A student from France's prestigious Poudrière animation school has completed a 1-minute film in CelAction2D. Called Super Mouche, the film was created in just 4 weeks.
28th February 2003 - 2DTV nominated for RTS award
2DTV has been nominated for Best Entertainment at the 2003 Royal Television Society awards, to be held on 18th March 2003.
26th February 2003 - 2DTV nominated for Indie award - again!
For the second time two years running, 2DTV has been nominated for Best Animation at the 2003 Indies awards, to be held on 5th March 2003.
2nd January 2003 - Bounty Hamster broadcast dates
Bounty Hamster from Silver Fox Films has a broadcast date on ITV1. It will be shown at 3.40pm each Thursday from 9th January 2003. CelAction provided the 3D animation for this 26 part series.
