27th December 2001 - The Big Knights win yet another award!

The Big Knights has won the Grand Prize for the Best Animation Series at SICAF 2001 (the Seoul International Cartoon and Animation Festival).

19th December 2001 - 2DTV commissioned for two more series in 2002

In an unprecendented move, ITV have commissioned not one but two new series of topical animated comedy 2DTV to be broadcast in 2002. 2DTV is animated using CelAction2D up to and including the day of broadcast.

18th December 2001 - 2DTV compilation to be last show of 2001

A special 30 minute compilation of the first series of 2DTV will be broadcast in the UK on ITV1 at 11.30pm 31st December 2001. Entitled "2DTV - The Best Bits", it includes never-before-seen 'out-takes'.

17th December 2001 - Le Père Noël Est Sans Rancune to be broadcast on Christmas Eve on TF1

A 30 minute Christmas special by Dargaud Marina and 2D3D Animations will be broadcast on 24th December at 9.20am on TF1 in France. This is the longest single programme created using CelAction2D so far, and also features some clever integration of 3D animation.

12th December 2001 - Ivor The Invisible and Second Star To The Left released.

CelAction has provided 3D animation on both these films, and they are available to buy in the shops.

19th November 2001 - The Big Knights win another award!

The Big Knights has won Best Commercial Series at the FAN International Animation Festival held in October 2001, in Norwich, England.

22nd October 2001 - Collingwood O'Hare finishes new pilot in CelAction2D

A 5-minute pilot of the children's show Yoko! Jakamoko! Toto! has been completed by Collingwood O'Hare Productions using CelAction2D. Created and directed by Tony Collingwood, and designed by Andrea Tran, it is intended to be turned into a 52-part series.

15th October 2001 - 2DTV series starts on ITV1

A 6 x 10 minute series of the animated topical comedy show 2DTV started Sunday 14th October 2001 at 10pm on ITV1.

8th October 2001 - CelAction at Cartoon Masters

CelAction will be part of the Cartoon Masters Forum International Des Technologies De L'Animation in Angoulême, France on 15-17 November 2001. See www.magelis.org for details.

10th June 2001 - The Big Knights are victorious at Annecy!

The Big Knights win the coveted Special Award for a TV Series at the Annecy Film Festival 2001.

7th June 2001 - The first commercial using CelAction2D is broadcast

Red and Ned in Cheese Trapeze, a 30 second commercial produced by Astley Baker at Loose Moose for JWT Chicago was broadcast in the USA.

18th May 2001 - CelAction will be at MIFA

CelAction will be at MIFA in Annecy, France, running from the 6th to the 9th of June 2001. We will be on stand 4.8. 27th March 2001 - 2DTV pilot broadcast on ITV

A 10 minute pilot episode for 2DTV, a unique topical animated comedy show, was broadcast on ITV, featuring up-to-the-minute jokes and scenes produced right up to the day of broadcast.

20th March 2001 - Two CelAction2D films in competition at Annecy

The Big Knights by Astley Baker and Rolf's Animal Hairdressers by Triffic Films have been chosen to compete in the TV Films category at Annecy 2001 in June.
