CelAction2D system requirements

 

 

CelAction2D runs on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8 in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. For production work we recommend 64-bit Windows 7 (you shouldn't base a production around an operating system that hasn't been out for at least 6 months, so we'll wait until April 2013 to recommend Windows 8).

Note that Windows RT is a different operating system entirely from Windows 8.

 

Minimum (for vector only, not suitable for rendering HDTV production):

2 GB RAM
Graphics card supporting 1280x1024 True colour (32-bit)
CD-ROM drive
Sound card and speakers/headphones

CelAction2D also runs on Intel Macs using Boot Camp, VMWare Fusion or Parallels, but because these are third-party products we have no control over new versions of their software, so please check with us prior to purchase. Note that virtual machines MUST have FULL USB compatibility in order to run CelAction2D.
